"What does Slentbjenn mean?"
-Fredrik
The Slentbjenn (Bamse Horrificus) is a ferrocious beast that roams the hills of Offerdal. After many years of walking the mountains, the legs on his one side has grown shorter, so he can only walk in one direction around the slopes. This makes him fairly easy to flip over if he should start to chase you. Just run downhill ... -Björn
"What does Hoven Droven mean?"
-Everybody
It is a local expression meaning "hullaballo", or "whatever", or "any way you want it", or "a little of this, a little of that", or "all over the place." .. We´ve been told it is remenicent of the German expression Hüben Drüben, and the American expression Helter Skelter. -Björn
"Come to Texas ! YOU ROCK !!"
-Jenny
Thanx Jenny. You´re right, we should go to Texas, and a whole bunch of other places aswell! But the truth is, it is not easy to find promotors around the world that knows how to handle a band like us ! Let´s face it, Hoven Droven is not your everyday MTV, commercial radio music. It´s difficult to make a solid budget to fly us around the world. When it comes to touring the US, the paperwork only to be allowed into the country is gruelling !! We work with pretty small means, but we have been lucky enough to find people that are capable of getting our music heard around the world, and we hope to come out in due time to play for as many of you as possible.
